On a recent visit to the San Jose Peninsula State Park, we stopped by Shipwreck Raw Bar for lunch. The restaurant has been rebuilt after Hurricane Michael and was full of locals and construction workers.
The menu was extensive with seafood being the main focus, but there were also options for carnivores. We tried the fried oysters, the fresh grilled fish sandwich, and my favorite - the fresh grilled fish served over a salad with mustard and honey dressing. To start off our meal, we had a dozen raw oysters from the Gulf of Mexico. The bar had a full selection of drinks including a limited wine list and lots of local beers. It was the perfect place to recharge before an afternoon at the beach.

The restaurant on the top floor and bar on the ground floor offer a wide variety of options for both seafood lovers and those looking for something else.
